The company’s Boston office manages more than 43 communities representing more than 10,000 apartment homes throughout Massachusetts. AvalonBay has built dozens of communities during its 25-year history.
The Architectural Team (TAT), a master planning, architecture and interior design firm based in Chelsea, MA, serves as architect for Avalon Bay, Since 1971, the 100-person firm has earned more than 300 awards for design excellence across a broad range of building types and programs, including new construction of large-scale, urban, mixed-use developments, multifamily communities, and assisted and senior living facilities.
ICON serves as the architect for WinnDevelopment. ICON is a 57-person, Boston-based, women-owned (WBE) architectural practice with award-winning work focused on sustainable transformative projects that create new paradigms for living. The firm has deep experience designing for special populations, including mixed-income family housing under Massachusetts design requirements. ICON’s projects have been case studies for nationally distributed books on urban housing.
Weston & Sampson, based in Reading, MA, serves as civil engineer for the project. The company provides interdisciplinary services including environmental, engineering, and design consulting to public and private entities. For more than a century, the company has been improving communities by infusing innovation and reliability into every project.
Correnti Kolick LLP serves as permitting attorney for the project. Based in Salem and serving clients throughout the North Shore, Correnti Kolick handles real estate development, environmental law, municipal law, hospital and healthcare legal matters, and business law, while also serving as General Counsel to various municipal Water and Sewer Districts.
The Public Archaeology Laboratory, a private, not-for-profit corporation based in Pawtucket, RI, serves as historic consultant for WinnDevelopment. Established in 1982, PAL provides archaeology and historic architectural surveys and has completed thousands of projects in the Northeast and throughout the United States and the Caribbean Islands.
